Privacy Policy

ArmPeak (“ArmPeak”, “we”, “us”) makes the ArmPeak iPhone app. This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and the choices you have. We built ArmPeak to collect as little as possible: your body photos stay on your phone, and you can use the app without creating an account.

1. Your photos

• The photos you take or upload for a scan are saved only on your device.
• To analyse a scan, the photos are sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which passes them to Google’s Gemini AI service for analysis and returns the results. We do not store your photos on our servers, and we ask the AI service not to retain them.
• Photos are never included in your cloud backup, never shared for advertising and never used to identify you.

2. Information stored on your device

Your quiz answers (goal, experience, schedule, equipment), scan results and scores, training plan, logged workouts, measurements, milestones and settings are stored locally in the app.

3. Account and cloud backup (optional)

• If you choose Sign in with Apple, we receive a unique account identifier and, if you share it, your email address (Apple may give us a private relay address instead).
• While signed in, the information in section 2 (but not your photos) is backed up to Google Firebase so you can restore it on a new phone.
• You can sign out at any time. Your data stays on your phone.

4. Subscriptions

Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID (or your ArmPeak account ID if you are signed in) and your purchase history from Apple.

5. Other technical information

• Install identifier: a random ID created when you install the app. We use it to limit free scans and prevent abuse of our AI service.
• Usage and crash data: we may collect basic, de-identified usage events (for example “scan completed”) and crash reports to fix bugs and improve the app.
• Notifications: workout and re-scan reminders are scheduled locally on your phone.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or tracking across other companies’ apps and websites.

6. Service providers

We rely on Google Cloud and Firebase (hosting, backup and server functions), Google Gemini (photo analysis), Apple (sign-in and payments) and RevenueCat (subscription status). They process information only to provide their service to us.

7. Keeping and deleting your data

• In the app, go to Settings › Delete account to delete your account and its cloud backup, or Settings › Delete my data to erase everything on your phone and in your backup.
• Deleting the app removes the data stored on your phone.
• You can also email us to request access to or deletion of your information.

8. Age

ArmPeak is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and the app declines to analyse photos that appear to show a minor.

9. Health information

ArmPeak gives fitness estimates from photos. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice or diagnose any condition.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for important changes we will let you know in the app.
